The pillow is hard when first lying on it, but it softens a bit with body heat and then is perfect, as it stays firm and maintains its shape. It allows me to sleep on my side or back and keep my shoulder comfortable. I highly recommend this pillow for anyone looking for a memory foam pillow perfect for a side or back sleepers.

If you give it time, this pillow truly has helped my neck. AND, I learned that part of my neck problem is my jaw (TMJ). This pillow makes it almost impossible to clench your teeth if you lay on it right. Fewer TMJ symptoms, better neck situation for me as well.
